His most recent track Alone is a collaboration with Punjabi singer-songwriter and producer PropheC. The video for Alone dropped a mere 6 days ago and has hit over 140K views, making him the Tune in Tuesdays artist of the week.

Arjun Kumaraswamy, a UK based Sri Lankan singer-songwriter has gained much popularity in India, the UK, and Northern America. His mistaken identity allows people to think he is from India. Despite his singing career, he has been even been offered multiple roles in Bollywood but he says that he doesn’t really want to enter the acting arena.

However, it is his love for music that keeps him from the acting world. Arjun first gained popularity with his remake of the Tamil song Why this Kolavari Di which currently has more than 13 million views on YouTube.

After his single, he has gone on to sign a contract with T-series and dropped numerous hits with various other artists. He has also gone on to produce tracks that have premiered in multiple Bollywood movies like Hindi Medium, staring Irfan Khan and Saba Qamar.

His latest song Alone is the perfect mix of R&B and Punjabi fusion music. The beat and the lyrics definitely keep up coming back to the song.  This song allows for a slow rhythm that brings in the feels.
