Tune in Tuesdays – Dr Zeus Goes Woofer With Snoop Dog!

Baljit Singh Padam, better known as Dr Zeus, is our star in this week’s Tune in Tuesdays! The Punjabi music composer & producer from the UK, Dr Zeus, rose to fame with his 2003 release Kangna; which is still highly loved and appreciated by the Punjabi music audience and every person who loves to dance to Punjabi beats!
After “Kangna”, Dr Zeus released several other famous tracks such as Jugni Ji. Later, he also worked with the Indian entertainment industry for a small interval of time and two of the biggest dance hits of Lovely from Shah Rukh Khan starrer Happy New Year and Baby Doll from Ragini MMS 2.
Dr Zeus has now released a new album called Global Injection, and the biggest highlight of the album is the song Woofer. For this album, Dr Zeus has collaborated with vocalist Zora Randhawa, Bollywood actress Nargis Fakhri, and the one and only- Snoop Dogg!
Woofer marks Snoop Dogg’s comeback to the Indian music industry! Earlier, Snoop Dogg had debuted in India with Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar starrer Singh is Kinng in 2008.
It is no surprise that Snoop Dogg is highly popular in India, and this popularity was clearly visible when the song hit over 5 million views on YouTube within 24 hours of its release and has crossed over 15 million within a week!
Dr Zeus, being a huge fan of Snoop Dogg himself, aims at bringing the music, language & entertainment of India to international platforms. Further, he claims that the whole purpose of this collaboration in Woofer was to bring different artists together to make the Punjabi famous and more mainstream!
We are totally with you on this man!
