Year Of The Dog Did You Say? Yay! Let’s All Get One!!!

Now, how can we ever say no to any celebration! The Chinese New Year celebrating the Year of the Dog is just the kind of festival we love! And what better theme to enjoy the weekend? What say?
So 2018 is the Year of the Dog and is the first one since 1958. As per Asian astrologers, the year of birth and the animal symbolizing it determines a lot about the personality trait of the individual. We know that dogs are synonymous with loyalty and honesty. People born in this year will apparently possess the best features. They will be honest, loyal, friendly, smart, faithful, straightforward, respected, and will have a great sense of responsibility. (Cheers to expecting parents!!)
Talking of which, we all know that dogs are truly a man’s best friend. “If the kindest of the souls were rewarded the longest lives, dogs would outlive us all” is something you all dog lovers resonate with.

Now, most of our Bollywood stars are fond of their dogs and we adore them for that. (In fact, dogs of some celebrities are actually a little more famous than them on social media!)

Salman Khan donated his picture with his pets to the Bombay Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (BSPCA) to spread awareness about animal welfare.
Anushka Sharma, while shooting for Ae Dil Hai Mushkil made it a point to lock her love for her cute dog Dude. She visited the world famous lover’s point where she wrote her name along with her dog’s name on a padlock and locked it on the fence of the bridge and as tradition goes, threw the key into the water to express her neverending love for her dog!
So while we love our dogs let us resolve to be a little more like them too! Let us:
Never stop playing.
Wag more & bark Less.
Be quick to forgive.
Be loyal and faithful.
And love unconditionally.
