Swarali started BollyHeels workshops last year in an effort to empower individuals through the power of movement accompanied with some sass! It is a blend of commercial dance and dance therapy training that makes ‘Therapy through Movement’ accessible outside traditional therapy settings.

The main focus was to empower individuals through dance, make them feel confident in their own skin, provide a space to experiment, explore without fear of judgment, and provide a community of support and acceptance. Just within the past year BollyHeels conducted over 40 workshops in 9 US cities and touched hundreds of lives. The students leave class feeling positive about themselves, their lives and their ability to face challenges with confidence and a hint of sass.
As BollyHeels prepares to spread their message internationally starting with Canada and Australia at the end of this year, Swarali wants to take a moment to celebrate this journey, and all the people that have helped her make it this far. Swarali is excited to present to you some choreographies her students learned through the course of their workshops and invites everyone to dance with them.
This cause is very close to Swarali’s heart. She says, “It has helped me deal with my own body image issues and supported so many individuals who made this journey with us 🙂 I hope you can join us to support our journey!”

Not competent enough to sit idle and stare as the world goes by, Pallavi is optimistic to a fault and believes in building her world on her own rather than depending on others to make things right.
