Ms. Marvel – The Pakistani American Superhero To Have Magnificent Re-launch In 2019

Ms. Marvel has rapidly turned into a top pick by the fans. And now in an interesting turn of events, the first Pakistani-American superhero from Marvel is getting a radical new creative group and re-launching in 2019.

Also known as Kamala Khan, this character was composed by G. Willow Wilson along with editors Sana Amanat and Stephen Wacker and artist Adrian Alphona. The current series is scheduled to come to an end and a new team will assume control, renaming it as ‘The Magnificent Ms. Marvel’.

That new group will comprise of artist Minkyu Jung of Batgirl and Nightwing fame and Eisner-grant winning author Saladin Ahmed of Exiles and Black Bolt fame, and as Wilson told Entertainment Weekly, the procedure of this change has been under process for about a year.

Saladin Ahmed is amped up for exploring this brilliant character further. As per Entertainment Weekly, Ahmed will be giving additional prods to the character in the new series, yet guaranteeing fans that the things they have come to love will always be around. 

G. Willow Wilson will retire as the author with her last issue featuring in February. She wrote a goodbye letter stating that not very long ago she had the dread of reiterating herself while taking the seat to compose another script for the character. This was an indication to her that the time had come to step off from the series.

‘The Magnificent Ms. Marvel’ will hit stands in March 2019 from Marvel Comics. We sure hope that fans are not disappointed.
