Descendants of a known Patiala Gharana family, the Pakistani band Raga Boyz have produced several soulful tracks in the past few years. Coming from a household of experienced ghazal and classical singers, the trio always gives the audience a song they won’t forget. It gives us immense pleasure to bring to you Wali Hamid Ali Khan’s latest release under the Zee Music Company label ‘Mahi Ve’ as our Tune-in-Tuesdays this week.
Wali Hamid Ali Khan is the son of the famous Hamid Ali Khan who was known for his ghazals and classical tracks. Along with his brothers, Nayab and Inam, Wali formed a band named ‘Raga Boyz’ in 2006, which gained popularity both in Bollywood and internationally. He is the lead vocalist of the band and is known for his stage presence in concerts, where he keeps his audience energetic and excited. Apart from being a pop and semi-classical singer/composer, he is also an actor. His debut film, “Ishq Positive”, was a Pakistani romantic comedy which released in 2016.
