Chung is a fellow Brit and one of fashion’s “it” girls. The show is similar to the hit reality show “Project Runway.” The new Netflix show will grant the winner a $250,000 prize and a chance to debut their collection with the luxury fashion retailer Net-a-Porter.
Though some of the contestants may be fresh designers, the show includes people who have been in the industry for some time such as designers working for major brands or stylists dressing celebrities.
Thus far, stylist and fashion editor Elizabeth Steward and Instagram’s director of fashion partnerships, Eva Chen have been roped in as recurring guest judges. The show will start off with a group of designers that will face design challenges presented by Chung and France. Each challenge will test the designers on their skill of creatively taking on trends and design styles that influence how the world dresses.
