Eid DissDash

Ramadan has moved swiftly by us and it is time to feast and celebrate Eid!

Over one billion Muslims around the world will be celebrating Eid-al-Fitr this week, a holiday which makes the end of the holy month of fasting known as Ramadan. During Ramadan, Muslims fast from sunrise to sunset abstaining from food, drinks and more. This is a time of clarity, repentance, charity and re-evaluating your relationship with yourself and God. After 29-30 days of fasting, Eid is determined by the sighting of the new moon.

The celebration that commences at the sighting of the new moon can last up to three days. These beautiful days are filled with tons of extended family, lots of amazing food, new clothes, parties, the spread of positivity, love, and generosity for all.

This year to celebrate, we bring you Bollywood’s best Eid songs! This blend of old school classics and newer Bollywood hits all speak of or portray the grand celebration that happens on Eid.
