When we heard that Katrina Kaif started her makeup line – we were like ya, ok, big deal. But then, she released the first campaign of Kay Beauty today – #ItsKayToBeYou
The video hit all the right notes for everyone to sit up and take notice! Check it out right here:
Along with the video posted on her Instagram, Katrina wrote, “It’s truly a dream which has come into existence so beautifully. Thank you to my entire team, and everyone for helping me achieve this..so much love to all of you from the bottom of my heart.. lastly..always remember, be authentic, be real, be yourself…because #ItsKayToBeYou.”
Kay by Katrina is the actor’s brainchild and she has collaborated with actors, musicians, and models for the campaign of her brand. She has incorporated influencers and has come out with a product for all. The video, the brand, is simply #bosslady and is up to par with the biggest makeup lines. Everything about the promo is fresh and trendy, something which will cater to all women but specifically the ferocious millennials.
Her stance on how its just okay to be who you are is the real home hitter.
Seen in the star-studded campaign video are Saina Nehwal, rapper Raja Kumari, Kusha Kapila, Jannat Zubair, Urvashi Umrao, Sana Thampi, Andrea Kevichüsa, South starlet Nayanthara and plenty more. The actor also thanked Zoya Akhtar and Anaita Shroff Adajania in her post.
And what’s more, the support she is receiving from Bollywood has been tremendous and Kay Beauty is the most talked-about beauty brand right now.
It’s also very conspicuous how Katrina Kaif is not taking up all the limelight in the video and has allowed the others to shine equally. We are in awe of the whole strategy behind this and really applaud the team.
Recently awarded the ‘risk-taker of the year’ at the Vogue India’s Women of the Year 2019, the entrepreneurial side of Katrina Kaif has sure created a storm!

Not competent enough to sit idle and stare as the world goes by, Pallavi is optimistic to a fault and believes in building her world on her own rather than depending on others to make things right.
