Baked Chicken Nuggets – No One Can Eat Just One!

Chicken Nuggets are a very popular fast food loved by all, be it kids or adults. But how do we make them healthier? Simple – these homemade Baked Chicken Nuggets are not only yummy but healthier than the fried ones. These are juicy and tender inside with a crispy crust and are the perfect finger food for parties or any relaxed evening snack.

Preparation Time: 5 minutes

Cooking Time: 25 -30 minutes

Yield: Two servings


Baked Chicken Nuggets Ingredients

  1. One pound boneless chicken (cleaned/washed and cut into pieces)
  2. One cup breadcrumbs
  3. Two teaspoons dry onion powder
  4. One teaspoon of dry garlic powder
  5. One teaspoon of red chili flakes
  6. Half a teaspoon of black peppercorn powder
  7. One teaspoon of all-purpose seasoning
  8. Salt to taste
  9. Two eggs
  10. Half cup cornflour
  11. Two tablespoons of oil


  1. Whisk two eggs in a  bowl
  2. Take breadcrumbs in another bowl and add salt, dry onion and garlic powder, red chilli flakes,  black peppercorn powder, all-purpose seasoning, and mix wellBaked Chicken Nuggets
  3. Take cornflour in a plate
  4. Prepare the baking tray by placing baking paper over it then spray some oil all over
  5. Take a piece of chicken and first place it in cornflour,  then dip in the egg and in the last step roll in the breadcrumbs mixture
  6. Set it on the baking tray and spray some oil
  7. Repeat step 5 and step 6 for the remaining pieces of chicken
  8. Pre-heat the oven at 400 F chicken nuggets
  9. Once heated, keep your tray in the oven and bake for 15 minutes
  10. Flip the sides and bake for 15 more minutes
  11. Check one piece if cooked else can bake for 5 more minutes
  12. Switch off the oven, remove your tray and serve hot


  1. Try to cut chicken pieces into equal size so that they take uniform time to cook
  2. Enjoy your Baked Chicken Nuggets with a variety of dips, ketchup or event chutneys
