The adorable tiny packet, large pataka, Neha Kakkar has released a sweet new love song featuring her husband, Rohanpreet Singh. ‘Nehu Da Vyah’ is our Tune-in-Tuesdays of the week!
Kakkar and Singh recently got married but right before the wedding celebrations, the couple released this love song. The track tells the story of a young man expressing his love and how their relationship leads to marriage. Singh and Kakkar both lay their vocals for the track. Kakkar not only sang but also wrote and composed the song. The real-life couple even starred in the music video as they portrayed a mischievous love story filled with tricks to avoid getting caught by parents.
Kakkar is a young star who has made a name for herself in a short span of time. From Bollywood soundtracks to hit singles, Kakkar has done it all. She began her singing career at the age of 4 through religious events. She was featured in the second season of Indian Idol but was eliminated early, and today she is a judge on the show. Through continued hard work, she was able to garner popularity with the hit song ‘Second Hand Jawani’ from the film “Cocktail.” This hit led to numerous others like everyone’s favorite beach number ‘Sunny Sunny’ from “Yaariyan,” the wedding jam ‘London Thumakda’ from “Queen,” and the dance number ‘Kar Gayi Chull’ from “Kapoor & Sons.” She proved her versatility with emotional singles like ‘Jinke Liye’ to remakes like ‘Aankh Maarey’ from “Simmba” and ‘Dilbar’ from “Satyameva Jayate.”
Singh is a young Punjabi singer who, like his wife, began singing at a very young age. Singh’s father inspired him to start singing and his first performance at the age of 4, was at his colony’s function. He started officially training at 9 years old and is a classically trained singer. He was even on “Saregama Lil Champs” as a child. He was featured on the reality show “Rising Star” and he became the first runner up. He’s released songs like ‘Taqleef,’ ‘Pehli Mulakat,’ ‘Ainkan Kaliyan,’ and ‘Hello Hi.’ Before settling down with the lovely Neha Kakkar, the singer was on Colors TV’s show “Mujhse Shaadi Karoge.”
