Bollywood Glitterati Pandemic Wedding – Varun Dhawan Weds Natasha Dalal

This has never happened before but we are all actually counting the number of people who got married or had babies during this pandemic, and looking at them in awe! I mean, we still think twice before leaving home and these people are going around with full band, baaja, barat! (smh) The latest to join this list is Varun Dhawan and his long time sweetheart Natasha Dalal.

The duo finally tied the knot and entered marital bliss in an intimate ceremony in Alibaug, a coastal town just south of Mumbai. Taking to his Instagram handle, the actor shared a couple of pictures from his wedding and captioned it, “Life long love just became official” along with a heart emoji. In the wedding pictures, the couple looked ecstatic as they complete the rituals. The newly wedded couple also appeared for the paparazzi outside the venue and posed for the camera and greeted the shutterbugs. While Varun Dhawan looks all dapper donning a traditional sherwani, Natasha Dalal looked stunning wearing a heavily embellished lehenga.

As reported in India Today, Varun Dhawan made a Bollywood style entry at the wedding on a quad bike. The groom side had assembled at The Mansion House and songs like ‘Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai’ were played along with dhol beats. Dhawal’s entry song for Dalal was ‘Heeriye Sehra Baandh Ke Main Toh Aaya Re’ from the film “Salaam E-Ishq.”

The couple also sent out ladoos for the shutterbugs who were waiting outside the wedding venue to get a glimpse of the newlyweds.

In view of the pandemic all necessary precautions were taken for the wedding. At the entrance of the wedding venue, Covid tests were conducted and stickers were applied on the mobile phones’ cameras so that no photos and videos could be leaked.

Karan Johar, Manish Malhotra, and Shashank Khaitan were among the celebrities clicked at the wedding.
