Priyanka Chopra Launches ‘Anomaly’ To Give You Good Hair Days Always!

After spending nearly 20 years in the glam chair working with some of the best beauty gurus in different industries, Priyanka Chopra Jonas has added another feather in her cap by launching her own hair care line – Anomaly. The fact that the packaging is made out of recycled trash from oceans and landfills and can be recycled again is an added bonus along with it being affordable. The price point is under $6.
Sustainability was very important to the actor and it is reported that because they used recycled packaging they were able to make the product affordable as many makers end up spending a lot of money on just packaging alone.
Anomaly will launch in the US on January 31st at Target and Target.com. It will be launching with eight core products; Clarifying shampoo, Gentle shampoo, Hydrating shampoo, Shine conditioner, Smoothing conditioner, Volume conditioner, Deep conditioning treatment masque, and Dry shampoo. These products will cater to practically everyone being gender neutral. The scent of the products is “fresh and clean”, according to Chopra.
Priyanka Chopra formed a partnership with beauty brand creator and incubator Maesa to come up with Anomaly. Reportedly industry sources share a projected sales growth of $20 million for the brand.
Taking to Refinery29 the ‘Quantico‘ actress explained that hair care is very important to her. “I have a really important relationship with my hair,” she said. “I remember when I used to go to buy shampoo as a 15, 16-year-old, just about discovering my teenage vanity at that point, all the really amazing, good stuff was so expensive. I’ve always been aware of what I use and what I consume. I saw that in hair care, we’ve not really had environmentally sustainable sort of hair care which is clean and really good for you but also affordable for everyone.”

“In the campaign that we do for Anomaly, it’s natural everyday beauty,” she continued. “Not the blown-out, silky hair. It’s all kinds of hair, everyone’s hair. It’s every gender. It’s every color. It’s every kind. That is the idea of Anomaly, that all of us are anomalies.”
Chopra recently wrapped up shooting the movie, “Text For You” in London. The movie also stars Sam Heughan, Celine Dion and Russell Tovey. She also recently released, “The White Tiger”, a movie that she produced and starred in. Her memoir, “Unfinished” is also slated to release February 9th.
