Headlined by Emraan Hashmi, the film is an official remake of hit Malayalam movie Ezra, it also features Nikita Dutta, Manav Kaul in the key roles Directed by Jay K and produced by T-Series and Panorama Studios, Dybbuk is all set to premiere on Prime Video on 29th October, across 240 countries and territories worldwide.
Prime Video unveiled an intriguing trailer of its anticipated horror-thriller movie Dybbuk – The Curse is Real, all set to release on 29th October. Jointly produced by T-series and Panorama Studios, the upcoming Amazon Original Movie Dybbuk is directed by Jay K. and is the official remake of blockbuster Malayalam film – Ezra. WithEmraan Hashmi coming back to his favorite genre, he will be seen headlining the film along with Nikita Dutta and Manav Kaul in key roles.
Set against the picturesque backdrop of Mauritius, the film chronicles the horrifying incidents that take place on the cursed island. The trailer released today gives a glimpse into the life of a couple who gets entangled in this quandary when the wife brings home an antique Jewish Box, that turns out to be a Dybbuk box!

While keeping the Halloween spirit alive, the teaser sets the tone for the season of scare! Along with Emraan Hashmi, who makes his return to his favorite horror genre, this film also features Nikita Dutta and Manav Kaul in prominent roles.
Emraan Hashmi worked as an assistant director for the 2002 horror film “Raaz” before pursuing a career in acting. By 2004, Hashmi had established himself as one of the leading actors of Hindi cinema with roles in several successful thrillers including, “Murder” (2004), “Zeher” (2005), “Aashiq Banaya Aapne” (2005), “Kalyug” (2005), “Aksar” (2006), and “Gangster” (2006). However, he followed it with roles in films that underperformed at the box office before starring in the acclaimed action drama “Awarapan” (2007).
The spooky teaser sees Nikita Dutta’s character opening a “Dybbuk” box that has trouble written all over it, what follows next is a series of terrifying events that will keep the audiences at the edge of their seats. Get ready for the supernatural thriller as it leaves you with an unsettling mystery that looms ahead to unravel.
