1. Dhoondein Sitaare (Official Video) Aastha Gill & King | Hyundai Spotlight
Aastha Gill as an individual is a great artist, solo tracks is what we want from her. King is an insane artist, fresh off his India tour and he is making amazing music. This particular song is a promo for Hyundai but it makes sense with King and Aastha together, there’s a road trip happening throughout Maharashtra. The only concern we have is has released too late, it has a very summer vibe. But overall ‘Dhoondein Sitare’ is a great fun track, it is nothing over the top.
2. EMIWAY – THAT’S HOW I FEEL
One thing about Emiway Bantai we want to mention to you is, probably one of the massive Desi Hip Hop acts, but the man has slowly declined. His career is declining, the music that he makes is very repetitive, a lot of stuff that actually goes viral is unfortunately stuff that people don’t understand, where they play it multiple times to understand what he is saying. The overall track is not great although the lyrics are. The video is also shabby, music is alright but the concept has been too done.
3. Main Te Meri Gaddi – Fateh Shergill x Parmish Verma
When we first saw the title, we thought it would be like any other Punjabi song with a Punjabi munda driving in his car through Chandigarh. But this song is a complete flip. It is not about a guy and his car even though it is called so. It is about how he loses the female interest of his life. Fateh Shergil is a new voice, an absolutely great singer and one thing that stands out in the video is Parmish Verma. Post his Punjabi movie industry escapade, his music started to decline. But now he is back to doing what he does best.
4. If Hope Dies (India) – Lost
The song is called ‘Lost’ and overall if you watch the video and pay attention to it, you will find yourself in very miniscule manners. It really helps if you enjoy this type of genre of music. The overall track is awesome and for our viewers out there, we have so much talent in the independent music scene, so please listen to them and share their music if you like it.
5. Ni Jaana – Jasleen Royal x TM Bax
Our final track this month stars Radhika Madan, a great actress who carries herself beautifully. In this video, we also see her dancing. So besides her, the entire song is something that touches you. On the contrary, the music is below average. But if you are in love and feel those emotions, you will connect to it. It is a beautiful track, as we know how beautiful Jasleen Royal can sing.
