The goal has always been to teach the younger generation the importance of social responsibility and taking time to positively impact someone else’s life. This year there are more families than ever that need some joy and smiles on their faces. We saw a great response from those who want to make a difference and spread some cheer, as they came to Broadway Commons in Hicksville Long Island on Sunday, December 5th for our contactless toy drive. Everybody brought at least one unwrapped gift for one of our various charities, including local schools, or made a monetary donation. DJ USA made the drive-through edition of the Unity Holiday Allstars gift drop event rock with their lively music and spirit. Charities to which these donations will go include Myface, Oral Health Center for People with Disabilities, University Hospital of Brooklyn, Mepham High School, Bay Shore High School, and Longwood School District.
