Shah Rukh Khan’s OTT App SRK+ Coming Soon – Take My Money Right Now!
Of all the OTT apps that have ever been launched, this one will be the biggest! The news of the SRK+ app has social media abuzz and everyone’s on the watch out for what will happen next.
With his son Aaryan’s arrest, release, and subsequent acquittal in the whole drugs saga, Shah Rukh Khan was away from the limelight for quite a bit. But the king of Bollywood is back, and how! Announcing the launch of his own OTT platform, Shah Rukh proved that he is indeed here to stay and make even more of an impact.
Called SRK+, this OTT platform will probably be the first-ever celebrity-owned streaming site. Announcing it, Khan took to social media and wrote, “Kuch kuch hone wala hai, OTT ki duniya mein,” and we hollered ‘take our money right now!’
As we rack our brains as to what all the SRK+ OTT platform could possibly give us, we end up dreaming about all the movies he was ever a part of, from “Bazigaar” to “DDLJ” to “Zero.” Will it include all the movies produced by Red Chillies Entertainment? Oh! the possibilities!
The news received backup from King Khan’s friend-turned-enemy-turned-friend-again Salman Khan who retweeted the actor’s post, adding: “Aaj ki party teri taraf se (the party is on you today). Congrats on your new OTT app, SRK+.”

Next in line was filmmaker Anurag Kashyap who will be collaborating on SRK+ and wrote, “Dream come true! Collaborating with @iamsrk on his new OTT app, SRK+.”

“Biggest news of the year. This is going to change the face of OTT. Super excited,” tweeted Shah Rukh Khan’s friend and longtime collaborator Karan Johar, director of the aforementioned “Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.”

Last year, SRK hinted at his OTT debut with a witty promo video for Hotstar. In the video, Shah Rukh Khan was seen greeting his fans from Mannat, while discussing with actor Rajesh Jais that he is not on any OTT platform.
Well, with SRK+ he made sure he will always be at the right place at the right time.
