We have 5 latest music videos from the world of Bollywood, Urban Desi, Punjabi, and the overall global South Asian independent scene all creatively curated just for you!
1) ‘WAHZIRINTHEHOOD’ – Wazir Patar
Someone in the YouTube comments mentions Wazir is the Dr. Drake of the Punjabi music industry but without giving him that much credit, Mr Wazir has taken the industry by storm in all the right ways. He is not Dr. Drake but he is Mr Wazir. 26-year-old gentlemen from Amritsar, Punjab has been in the scene for about 4 years now. He brings new music for the scene yes, but repetitive somewhat but doesn’t make you knock one bit, no. It’s a brand new wave coming off Amritsar from much of the area that borders Pakistan.
2) ‘Raah’ – Navaan Sandhu | Jay B Singh
We guess we got another Manjha kid on the block right now. Navaan Sandhu, singer, songwriter, with production by JB Singh, ‘Raah’ comes off a studio album Way Maker. We are definitely in awe of the video, it’s a beautiful vlog beautified. The color correction, the slow-mo and fast-paced shots all blend extremely smoothly. They compliment the flow of the audio track. But the NYC subway stock footage does make us cringe a bit. Shoutout to Teji Sandhu for directing this and big one to Onkar Singh for the color correction. Even if you have peeped Navaan’s album, check it out.
3) ‘Voodoo’ – Badshah, J Balvin, Tainy
J Balvin and Badshah’s individual channels have amassed massive views. We have two individuals well over 25 to 30 million views with J Balvin from Columbia and Badshah from India, this had to be a storm. But delivery work with all the views, streams and endorsements maybe not. 10 days, 25 million views and still counting. Artistically the video is absolutely beautiful and a pleasure to watch. The audio not so much. Badshah’s lyrics nobrainer. The next phase in Badshah’s collaborative journey will see him collaborating with some of the influential and popular artists. We are psyched.
4) ‘Mother O.G.’ – Agsy
Red Bull providing 64 Bars under the technicalities of the OG Karan Kanchan to an immensely talented group of individuals. If you haven’t peeped it yet, please do so, especially Agsy’s Hindi, Punjabi, English drill hip-hop trap, thrown in bit of a sass. She has accurate flow, confidence and lyrically fire. Agsy has got it all. Karan Kanchan smashes the beat like the others on 64 bars, and trust us you are going to share it with your friends.
5) ‘Grind’ – AR Paisley
Paisley’s a Canadian writer and songwriter. His debut album Screwface got out in 2017, next album in 2019. He’s got work and he’s got the job done. ‘Grind’ is real, the lyrics and the flow is real. Even the merch out from the track is real as well. This 25-year-old is going to kill the scene that he has not already made his mark in.

Not competent enough to sit idle and stare as the world goes by, Pallavi is optimistic to a fault and believes in building her world on her own rather than depending on others to make things right.
