Ayushmann Khurrana Goes All Bond In “Anek”
The trailer for Ayushmann Khurrana’s “Anek” is out now. The action-thriller is directed by Anubhav Sinha and features Khurrana as an agent named Joshua. This is the second collaboration of the actor and the filmmaker after the earlier success of Article 15.
The trailer showcases Ayushmann Khurrana on a mission to neutralize the situation in North East India, with a side story about an aspiring Northeastern boxer wanting to play for India. With this movie he has successes in yet again proving that he cannot be typecasted into any role as an actor.

From being the boy next door, chocolate hero, gay and now donning the James Bond vibe, Khurrana has touched all genres in Bollywood.
From a popular VJ to one of the most bankable young actors in contemporary Bollywood, Ayushmann Khurrana has come a long way in such a short span of time. His first big break in showbiz came when he won the second season of the reality show MTV Roadies at the age of 20. This was followed by a successful stint as a tv host, and subsequently, a dream debut courtesy of the acclaimed rom-com “Vicky Donor” which was also a box office hit.
Ayushmann hasn`t looked back since, having enjoyed tremendous critical and commercial success thanks to his penchant for choosing unconventional scripts; a case in point being the novel storylines of movies like “Dum Laga Ke Haisha,” “Shubh Mangal Saavdhan,” “Andhadhun,” and “Badhaai Ho.” Along the way, he has also added two Filmfare Awards to his repertoire and earned a considerable reputation as a musician as well!
Directed by Anubhav Sinha, “Anek” is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, and Anubhav Sinha and also stars J.D. Chakravarthy, Andrea Kevichüsa, Deeplina Deka, and Manoj Pahwa. Presented by Benares Mediaworks, T-Series, and AA Films, it will be distributed internationally by Cinestaan AA Distributors.
