The new Marvel show, “Ms. Marvel,” has been roaring on the screen after it was released last week on Disney+.
The first brown superhero in the Marvel Cinematic Universe has excited South Asian fans even more. In the show, Zenobia Shroff plays the character of the superwoman’s mother, or as we call her Momma Marvel!
Zenobia Shroff is a veteran actress, who has appeared in numerous films like “Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu” and “The Big Sick,” has been working as an actor for over thirty years in both India and the West.
She began her career in theatre in Mumbai under the mentorship of thespian Pearl Padamsee before traveling to the US to work in off-Broadway plays. Apart from her film, TV, and theatre roles, she has also taught drama and movement in New York City and Mumbai.
