We have 5 latest music videos from the world of Bollywood, Urban Desi, Punjabi, and the overall global South Asian independent scene all creatively curated just for you!
1. ‘MeherBaan’ – Siddharth Kasyap, Sumedha, Mohd. Irfan, Raja Hasan, Terence Lewis, Sarah, Aziz Zee
Mr Terence Lewis, this song is not for us at all. We tried listening to it separately as well but it just does not work. The only bit that we liked are the vocals by Raja Hasan in between. Terence’s contemporary dance moves as he is known for are familiar with, but anything else? No. You can give it a miss.
2. ‘Game Over’ – Karan Aujla
Undoubtedly one of the global acts from the Punjabi music industry is Karan Aujla. ‘Game Over’ was actually delayed because of the untimely death of Sidhu Moosewal. But this track is sick! The video is 2nd music video from Karan Aujla’s highly anticipated but not completely successful Ep No Way. Comedian YouTuber turned director Rupen Ball is a powerhouse of talent and creativity. However, we expected a bit more from this music video. It starts off with dolphins and whales and moves forward to a grand mansion with a bunch of women just chilling and vibing around. Understanding the point, it could just be a little more you expect the ocean after you see what you see. The track is amazing as the peeps involved keep dropping hits after hits with solid presentation.
3. ‘Chamkeela Chehra’ – Badshah, Sonia Rathee
Badshah knows what you want but he also balances on the fact, what he wants. He makes raw hip-hop, simple hooks, the biggest B-town hits and then well planned comes out with his futuristic retro sound. He is experimenting, it is not working or working, you be the judge of that. He completely lets go as an artist and a creative and makes sure he is providing more to his audience and ultimately to ourselves. He is an artist who flies on a spaceship and then comes right back to the streets. Watch the video till the end for a comical and weird end, watch it and let us know if it makes sense to you.
4. ‘Galliyan Returns’ – “Ek Villain Returns”
“Ek Villan” is returning, Bollywood is returning with a brand new cast, so we can’t really say how the film will turn out to be. But one thing for sure is that this track is as beautiful as the first one. We can’t say it is better, because the OG is always the OG. ‘Galiyaan returns’ is trending at #1 in India right now and for the right reasons. It is not just the track, it is a popular one as well. Creating new track is not easy but moreover recreating and maintaining the essence of the original is even harder.
5. ‘Love Nobody’ – Chirag Todi feat. Ramya Pothuri x Ranj
A completely remote track, ‘Love Nobody’ is just a lot of fun for real. Ahmedabad-based guitarist and composer with those credits on ‘Love Nobody’ collaborates with US-based vocalist Ramya who has also composed and written this track. Bengaluru-based Raj absolutely smashes it with her flow, definitely one of our favourite parts. We would thank them for making such a full of happiness track with perfection all around. A big shoutout to the cast for adding that Sone pe Suhaga to the track.

Not competent enough to sit idle and stare as the world goes by, Pallavi is optimistic to a fault and believes in building her world on her own rather than depending on others to make things right.
