1. ‘Alvida’ – Adnan Sami, Sarah Khatri, Kausar Munir, Ritika Bajaj, Aditya Dev

Adnan Sami is a legend in his own right – vocally, musically, personality and his journey as well. Honestly, there is nothing to say against his voice and his music. Born to Pakistani parents in London, currently lives in India and is a Padmashri recipient. But he looks super out of place in this music video. Mr Sami looks like a CGI figure throughout the video. We miss the old times when he had just started and given some biggest Bollywood hits back to back. We definitely love the audio of this track, but video not so much.

2. ‘Casanova’ – Yo Yo Honey Singh, Lil Pump, Dj Shadow Dubai

Honey Singh has been obsessed with the Ghanta and the Ghantis for a minute now. No matter what he drops, even though you may not love the track, you really can’t ignore this man for sure. ‘Casanova’ features music produced by one of the biggest South Asian DJs globally – DJ Shadow Dubai and Mr Gazzy Garcia, 5 time platinum recording artist, a repeat offender on the Billboard list, his name is Lil Pump. This is a huge collaboration, right? Mass appeal is definitely there, but there is no doubt without Honey Singh in the hip-hop game in India would not have any chance of opening it up. The production goes beyond the average club banger. The lyrics are cheesy yet catchy. It is another stepping stone of what is yet to come from our music scene globally.

3. ‘Mithi Mithi’ – Jassie Gill

Easily one of the recognisable faces from the Punjabi music scene and now dude is acting as well. ‘Mithi Mithi’ ain’t that Mitha for us. The gunshot breaks, Jatti bomb tu kudiye, how many times have you heard that on the latest Punjabi songs. We found absolutely nothing in this music video.

4. ‘Lobotomy’ – Emiway, Lazarus

Lazarus, one of the biggest, most loyal fans this man has in the scene as well as Emiway from Mumbai, Lobotomy is surgically dope! With Sidhu Moosewala respects being paid, Bollywood names being called out, Kabir Singh to Kardashian, Kanye to Eminem, they don’t lose their flow, style, do not do anything that messes the track. We love what they do in a hotel room full of raw talent. They let loose, shoot the music video and it just works.

5. ‘Long Story Short’ – Fateh, Straight Bank

This is that T and NYC link-up and its definitely a win-win situation. Fateh from Toronto has been holding that rap game down and he comes back to Queens to kill the Queens and this time it plugs in that alley pawn soundtrack. But Straight Bank is real as real one can get. ‘Long Story Short’ is a small peak into that extended play that both these title individuals have released.
