We have 5 latest music videos from the world of Bollywood, Urban Desi, Punjabi, and the overall global South Asian independent scene all creatively curated just for you!
1. ‘Jugni’ – Diljit Dosanjh, Diamond Platnumz
Diljit Dosanjh from India and Diamond Platnumz from Tanzania coming together to fuse an international track or what we thought. This particular track does not impress so much. It seems more like a medley that Diljit is producing and performing and it feels like it was some additional shots that was done. Or it was a moneymaking project but it falls flat. Samples have been taken from different songs and put together but the one from ‘Tere Bin Nahi Jeena’ by Juggy D hurts us.
2. ‘Dukh’ – Ramvir, Ezu
Mr Ramvir from New York City, we see you. His last track was 2 years ago which was a banger. And after a 2 year hiatus, ‘Dukh’ is a track that if we heard it first, we wouldn’t have imagined the video to be like it is, in all the positive ways. The video is dope and the track is amazing. The track in itself is a gem but if you watch it with the video, it takes you to a different level. Ezu always kills it with the vocals, much props to him.
3. ‘Paris Ka Trip’ – Millind Gaba, Yo Yo Honey Singh
Honey 3.0 is coming up, so in one lifetime, this guy is living 3 lives. ‘Paris ka Trip’ is actually good. The beat is so good, it makes the lyrics comparatively okay. The overall rap of Honey and Milind Gaba is still the same vibe, we are done with this type of music, where all you are doing is approaching and fantasizing about women. Cutting that out, the first part of the song is alright to bop on.
4. ‘Baby’ – Emiway, Young Galib
Emiway actually keeps on saying the commercial hip hop, street and independent but he does it right. There are mentions of the entire Bollywood fraternity from Nora Fatehi, Ranveer Singh to Deepika Padukone and we think being a rapper from Bombay and representing it works. Young Galib is also amazing and we want to hear more. Emiway Bantai successfully releases another track.
5. ‘Moved On’ – Somee Chohan, Rap Demon, Uzair Altaf
We love this track. If you like Pakistani, Urdu, rap that is fused with New York city and given a global flavour and still yet an independent artist who knows what they are doing. Somee Chohan, Rap Demon and Uzair Altaf killed it. This is one that track that you should listen, let your friends know, share and spread the word.

Not competent enough to sit idle and stare as the world goes by, Pallavi is optimistic to a fault and believes in building her world on her own rather than depending on others to make things right.
