We have 5 latest music videos from the world of Bollywood, Urban Desi, Punjabi, and the overall global South Asian independent scene all creatively curated just for you!
1. ‘Together Forever’ – Yo Yo Honey Singh
Is Honey Singh back from his International villager vibes or is he circling between the whole 1.0 and 3.0 which is his brand new album? ‘Together Forever’ directed by Rupen Bal who is all the way from Canada is making moves right now. But is Honey Singh making moves that we don’t know. We personally think he is finding his way to the OG self. Honey Singh fans love this but right now this track, we don’t like it as much. There is not a single lyric in the video other than ‘Together forever’ that we can even remember from the video. It’s a new wave, lets see what happens, we want Honey Singh to come back and know all his fans want it too.
2. ‘The Umbrella Song’ – Bilal Saeed, Fateh
Comparing it to ‘Together Forever’, this song is a masterpiece. It is a pretty damn good song, its fun, bop, funky and it does exactly what its supposed to do. We are in complete awe of Bilal Saeed, this man has been releasing tracks day in, day out for every single genre of audience. This song with Fateh makes his comeback with the collaborations that he used to do back in his OG times. ‘The Umbrella Song’ is fun and it celebrates women of all shapes, sizes and colour. Just watch it!
3. ‘Doaba’ – Garry Sandhu, Jind Dhillon
We are not really sure with Daddy Beats, the name of the producer but the guy goes into it, shoutout to him. ‘Dauba’ is one of the four geographical regions of Punjab and it is where Gary Sandhu is from. He is representing it hard and you can read about it in the comments. Every single person from there accepts that this song is a representation of the region. Gary Sandhu and his talent, overall skills from India to the UK and now overall globally he is a sensation who knows exactly what he is doing. The vocals are crazy and we completely push the music of Punjab where there is no unnecessary requirement of personified women, no violence, no guns, no gangs. This is a straight up song representing where an individual is from.
4. ‘Marigold’ – Anusha Savi, Lydia Samuel
‘Marigold’ is an EP, every single month from now until January 2023, a single will be released. This particular track is a film, it is not a video, its a music film produced by Jonathan and performed by Lydia Samuel and Anusha Savi. This release from Outer Voice Record is a banger. It is beautiful as it touches your soul and does so much more. We urge you to listen to the track and then watch the video.
5. ‘Mundra’ – Raxstar, S Jay
Raxstar is one of those artists in the UK, that even if you don’t release a record in sometime, you never really get enough of him. He has always released tracks that resonate with a larger group of audiences that too in his own niche. Sad Boi Hours his newest EP claiming his inner senti vibes, his inner sad boy vibes and we are all for it. The music video is simple, there is not too much to it and there is not even that much required from it. The track overall provides you with the feeling that you need.
