Zeenat Aman has always been a gem and now that she has joined Instagram, her timeline has become a definite treasure trove for Bollywood fans.

Continuing to engage her fans by sharing personal stories and professional insights, her recent post features two captivating images of her alongside superstar Dharmendra. In the first image, Dharmendra is dressed in a gown, while Zeenat Aman sports a cowboy-inspired look. The second image showcases them in flashy costumes. Zeenat Aman provides context for the images through an anecdote in her caption, mentioning that the discovery of these pictures prompted her to share her memories.

Speaking about Dharmendra, Zeenat Aman expresses that among the many actors she had the privilege of working with, Dharmendra was a favorite. She acknowledges his striking handsomeness but emphasizes that what truly stood out was his down-to-earth and genuine personality. “There were no airs or pretensions about him, which created a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere on set,” she writes. Dharmendra and Zeenat Aman appeared together in several films, including the international heist movie “Shalimar.”

Aman reminisces about the unique production of “Shalimar,” mentioning that the film was shot simultaneously in both English and Hindi to cater to a broader audience. She reveals that Dharmendra needed assistance with his English dialogues, while she required help with her Hindi lines. As a result, after each day’s shoot, the two actors could be found diligently working with their respective language tutors, putting in hours to perfect their lines.

“People like Zeenat, who are being so loved on social media, is because of what she is writing. It is not frivolous. She is not trying to compete with a 24-year-old. She is talking about the life she has lived and that is attractive. You are on social media, but you are not pandering to the world that is created on social media,” veteran Bollywood actress Shabana Azmi recently told India Today.
