Meet Vini (Vinita) Hazari, the dynamic emerging choreographer hailing from the vibrant dance scenes of New York and New Jersey. 🗽
With a remarkable dance journey spanning over fourteen years, she’s making waves with her innovative concept videos, aiming to break down mental health stigmas within the South Asian community. 💃 Rooted in Kathak, her training under Guru Rachana Sarang is the cornerstone of her choreographic brilliance. Kathak’s essence permeates her Semi-Classical choreography, adding a unique flavor to her art. 🩰
Before embarking on her independent teaching journey, Vini honed her skills in jazz and contemporary dance at the Shiamak Davar Institute of Performing Arts, where she also taught for three years. 🕺💃 But that’s not all – Vini’s dedication extends to Western dance styles too. Under the mentorship of the renowned choreographer Chris Gayle, she immerses herself in Jazz Funk, Hip Hop Ballet, and Contemporary dance forms. 🕺👯♀️ Vini Hazari is more than a dancer; she’s a force of artistic expression and social change.
