Shree Saini, United States of America

Indian-American Shree Saini representing the USA has completed her bachelor’s degree in journalism and is currently working as a business manager at her father’s company and as a keynote speaker. After being crowned, she has been actively promoting BWAP in the US and across the largest media platforms. Her dream is to become a United States Secretary of Education. An avid reader, Saini also has a passion for dance and musical theatre and enjoys attending Stand Up Comedy shows.
Her ‘Beauty with a Purpose’ project stems from her own experience of having a complete heart block. She has traveled to over 100 cities, 34 states, and 8 countries to promote “Heart Health: Healing both the physical heart and emotional heart” and also supports other non-profit organizations and causes.
Manasa Varanasi, India

Manasa Varanasi is a graduate of Computer Science Engineering and had recently been working as a Financial Information Analyst. She has future ambitions to host her own talk and news show. She enjoys swimming, table tennis, and badminton. She is also a trained Indian classical dancer and has recently started learning sign language.
She chose the name “10-9-8” for her ‘Beauty with a Purpose‘ project as 1098 is a child helpline number that is easy to remember yet still unknown to many people. The aim is to facilitate the rescue and rehabilitation of vulnerable children in Manasa Varanasi’s home state of Telangana where cases of child marriage, forced child labor, and sexual abuse are constantly on the rise. The project is supported by the Police and the Telangana government’s child welfare department.
Namrata Shrestha, Nepal

Namrata Shrestha is currently studying for a postgraduate degree in sociology and is working as a kindergarten teacher. She dreams of one day opening her own school. Her proudest moment was when one of her pupil’s parents said that her daughter would like to be like her when she grows up. She also has a passion for belly dancing and the arts.
For her ‘Beauty with a Purpose’ project “Bridging the Gap”, Namrata Shreshtha took on the task of building a 73-meter bridge in a remote part of Nepal. The bridge connects three villages and will directly benefit 2,804 households and 12,376 people. The completed bridge saves the villagers a two-hour journey, which required them to dangerously cross a river. The construction of the bridge also provided over 200 laborers with employment for five months.
Sade Greenwood, Sri Lanka

Currently, a student, Sade Greenwood and has ambitions to work for a non-profit organization. An avid animal activist, her proudest moment was when she took part in an animal rights silent protest for the government to pass the Animal Welfare Bill. Her hobbies and interests also include marine conservation, poetry, and writing.
Her ‘Beauty with a Purpose’ project “Think Blue, Go Green” focuses on alienating the mass pollution that intensifies the marine deterioration in many coastal areas such as Negombo, Colombo, and Jaffna. She works with the organization Pearl Protectors which protects and cleans the coastal areas of Sri Lanka. She also facilitates the rescue of marine life.
Not competent enough to sit idle and stare as the world goes by, Pallavi is optimistic to a fault and believes in building her world on her own rather than depending on others to make things right.
