The latest person to bring us that pride is Rhea Ghosh, becoming a member of The Recording Academy, to protect creators’ rights and advocacy. Rhea Ghosh has been working as the head of Marketing and Advocacy with Cosynd, Inc. one of the fastest-growing platforms that help content creators protect their work—offering solutions and services for various artists and creators to build, negotiate and make contracts to register further with copyright. She started as a marketing strategy consultant in 2020 and eventually became the head of the department. A student of Babson College and the University of Westminster, she has studied business management.
The Recording Academy Class of 2022 has invited over 2700+ professionals and about 56% of them are from “underrepresented communities.” Rhea Ghosh happens to be one amongst them. Those invited are eligible to vote for the 65th Grammy Awards. A prestige in itself.

She is elated to be a part of the Recording Academy’s new member class. She plans to amplify opportunities for women and non-binary songwriters and producers. With her on board, it will also help the representation of the South Asian music diaspora.
